The 2016 Rami Makhzoumi Leadership Award was awarded to Mr Ayad Saoud in a ceremony held on the campus of International College, Beirut, on Friday 17th June 2016. The award, which is given annually, was officially launched in October 2011 and is awarded to a student in the secondary section of International College who displays commitment, service to the community and outstanding leadership qualities. This award was established to commemorate the late Rami Makhzoumi’s achievements and commitment to society.
Mr Fouad Makhzoumi, Rami’s father, presented Ayad with a certificate and a copy of The CEO’s Journey, a business biography which celebrates Rami’s life and many achievements. The ceremony was also attended by Rami’s mother, Mrs May Makhzoumi and his sister Miss Camelia Makhzoumi.
