The Makhzoumi family host a day of Quran recital and prayers for the peace of Rami’s soul. To commemorate the one year anniversary of Rami’s tragic death, his parents hosted a day of Quran recital and prayers for the peace of Rami’s soul at the Khashukji Mosque in Beirut, Lebanon on 21st April 2012.
Over the course of the day, thousands of people streamed through the Barghout Hall to offer their condolences to the Makhzoumi family and to pray for Rami.
On the previous day Rami’s father, Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi, performed the Dhuhr prayer at the Basta mosque (which is where the funeral prayer for Rami was performed) before visiting Rami’s grave at the adjoining cemetery to pray for his son’s soul.
